Centers include child care centers and preschools are typically established in a commercial building. Centers are usually affiliated with either a public or private agency. Children are often in larger groups of children close to their own age. Ages cared for in these programs are six weeks to five years of age, but often include school- age children before- and after-school and during school breaks.
